When an effect is applied, by default it modifies the whole of the image. You can restrict the area of effect by using the Top, Left, Width and Height properties to define a selection rectangle within the image. If the rectangle is empty or invalid then the effect will be applied to the entire image.

The Height property defines the height of the rectangle in pixels.
